Well I just paid over $3.00 a gallon for gas. I knew the price increase was coming. As surely as the ache in your joints lets you know that a storm is coming, a holiday is an indication of a price hike at the pump. Memeorial day is right around the corner so the prices are edging up. I would say that we can expect to pay about $3.25 by the holiday weekend. Then expect a very slight drop to about $3.15 until June 25th then prices will climb again to around $3.45 by the Fourth of July. They will fall slightly and then spike again around August 28th in preparation for Labor day.
The good news is if you own stock in oil companies expect record breaking profits again this year. American Idol
There is no contest. Melinda is hands down the best singer. No contest. Unfortunately she lacks charisma. Fortunately for Melinda, all of the contestants lack charisma, except perhaps Jordin. Who is going home tonight? I think it is going to be close but Blake heads home. Jordin's cuteness factor wins out over Blake's unique style.
Long term view...Jordin goes on to sell more records than Melinda and Blake combined even though she doesn't win the title. She's only 17 and is soooo talented.

Unfortunately you are right about the gas prices. I thought that it was all Katrina's fault but now its something else. Oil companies always make excuses as they laugh all the way to the bank.
