It's a sad day in Southern Gospel Music land. First the Florida Boys announced that they are retiring and now it seems to be offical - Three Bridges is disbanding. It appears that Mitch Kenitzer and Dave McVay have resigned from Three Bridges.
I first heard of this last week but was told that there was still hope of a mending of ways but alas it looks like that is not to be. It's a shame when a group that has just hit its stride so to speak, implodes. Inside sources site artistic differences as the main reason for the break up.
Three Bridges recent song "A Little Song Comin On" went to number one on the Singing News charts. This was there second number one song with "In The Sky" being their first.

What a shame. Three Bridges' star was just rising. They had what it took to really shine as a top Southern Gospel Group. There's going to be a lot of disappointed fans, including my family who just loves them.
Very sad about the Florida Boys also, they are one of the Greats in my book!!
