Mark Bishop on New Music Monday

You do not want to miss New Music Monday on June 23rd. This week we are going to take a listen to the brand new CD from Mark Bishop, "The Fields of Love". In addition to listening to this great CD, I will be airing an interview that I did with Mark last week. It is going to be one of the best shows you will hear all year!

Mark Bishop's new CD, "The Fields of Love" is a ground breaking CD in that it is a Southern Gospel concept album. It tells a story with each song serving as a kind of "chapter" in the story. Mark describes it as a "Musical Journey of Faith in the Heartland". It is about a man's struggle to regain faith.

I have to tell you that the first time that I listened to "The Fields of Love" I got a little teary eyed. It is a very moving story and the songs are the best that Mark has ever written.
